Nienor

Nienor , Mourning , girl of Húrin and Morwen sister of Túrin, is an imaginary character invented by J.R.R. Tolkien. The account of its life is told in the Narn I Chîn Húrin (the Geste of the children of Húrin).

It was bewitched by Glaurung, father of the dragons, with Nargothrond and being unaware of its past it married her Túrin brother with Brethil under the name of Níniel. With died of Glaurung she discovered her unconscious husband beside the dragon. The monster in a last breath released it from its charm. Recovering the memory and believing her dead brother it was thrown in the Teiglin.
