Biography

Born in 1957, Niels Fredrik Dahl is a writer and Norwegian journalist. Married to Flax Ullmann, he wrote several collections of poems and plays before turning to romantic creation. Prize winner of the prestigious Price Brage in 2002 for its second novel the Glance of a friend , it describes with talent and gravity the tension of the consciences esseulées in an irremediably burst world. That it is within the group ( the Glance of a friend ) or couple ( last Summer , 2003), fraternity and the division are illusions to which only the benevolence gives a value. Popular writer in Scandinavia, he pains to be essential in translation - in particular in French.
