The Prix Niel is a horse-race of dish being held in September on the Hippodrome of Longchamp.

It is a race of Groupe II reserved for the horses 3 years.

The Niel Price is run on the distance of 2.400 meters, on the large track of Longchamp. The edition 2007 is equipped with an allowance of 130.000€.

At the origin, this race bore the name of Prix of Chantilly, but it was renamed in 1972 to pay homage to the Count Gaston Niel. It is used as preparatory race with the Prix of the Triumphal arch, and is held the same day as the Prix Vermilion and the Prix Foy.

The record of the test is held by Soldier off Fortune since 2007, with a time of 2 ' 25" 60.
