Niederhaslach is a common French, located in the department of the the Low-Rhine and the area Alsace.
Geography
The commune of Niederhaslach is located at 40 km of Strasbourg, 15 km of Molsheim and 12 km of Schirmeck and Mutzig. Its territory is bordering on the communes of Oberhaslach and Still in north, Muhlbach-on-Beetle and Mollkirch in the south, Heiligenberg in the east and Urmatt in the west. Its round of applause is crossed, in the south, by the road express of the valley of the Beetle, RD 420 and the RD 392. The occupation of the ground is dominated by the forest which represents more than 40% of common surface; the meadows and orchards occupy 25% and 10% respectively of them. The main forest is spread out over the slope is. Opposed side, the plate which culminates to 311 m of altitude is devoted to agriculture.The commune of Niederhaslach knows a typical location compared to the other villages of the valley of the Beetle since it is located in a confluent valley of the Bruche: the valley of Hasel which extends from north in the south to the Beetle. This characteristic confers on the village lines of more softened reliefs, with its hills and its plates, where agriculture could develop (meadows and orchards). The village appears however wedged in the Vosgean main forest which forms a vegetable barrier in background. The village developed along the river and of the road of service road of valley (RD 218).
