Nicolo Cassana
Nicolo Cassana or Nicoletto (Venice, 1659 - London, 1714) is an Italian painter Baroque.
It begins its training near his father Giovanni Francesco Cassana whom it assists.
Painter of portraits of the court of Florence, it also paints of the English of the nobility, and, invited in England, it is introduced near the Anne queen who appreciates it and testifies to him to the marks of favor.
He dies in London into 1714 of his taste for drink in his last years.
Fortunatus Pasquetti was of its pupils like Nicola Grassi of 1700 to 1709.
