Nicole Loraux (Paris, 1943 - Argenteuil, Val-d'Oise, 2003) is a Historienne and a French translator.

Specialist in the Greek Antiquity, it was director of studies to the École of the high studies in social sciences. It was member of the “School of Paris”, made up of Jean-Pierre Vernant, Pierre Vidal-Naquet and of Marcel Detienne.
