Nicolas of Damas was a Syria N Jewish hellenized of the Ier front century J. - C., secretary, professor and friend of Hérode.
He wrote 144 pounds historical with the praise of Hérode, Auguste, César etc, and constituted a file of the various official documents concerning the right of the Juifs of the Diaspora, in particular in Asia Mineure and in the Ionian islands.
Its considerable and very varied work also included/understood tragedies, comedies and a project of universal history.
