Nicolas de Pellevé
Nicolas de Pellevé , born with Jouy-under-Thelle the October 18th 1515 and died in Paris the March 28th 1594, is a French prelate.
Nicolas is the second wire of Charles de Pellevé and Helene de Fay, lord of Liancourt and Jouy. Law professor and abbot of Saint-Crow, it becomes bishop of Amiens in 1552. In 1559, he is missionary in Scotland. In 1560, it makes build the castle of Liancourt (which will be almost completely destroyed in 1830). It will make come an architect Italy N to draw the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church of Jouy-under-Thelle where several members of its famille.

The December 16th 1562, it becomes archbishop of Direction in the place of the Cardinal of Own way. The pope Pie V creates it cardinal the May 17th 1570 then appoints it prefect of the Congregation of the bishops and regular with Rome. In 1588, it becomes archbishop of Rheims but returns in France only in 1592. It is one of the last chiefs of the Sainte League which holds Paris.
Already sick, it assists the March 22nd 1594 with the triumphal entry of Henri IV in Paris and dies six days later.
