Nicolas Raffron de Trouillet 1723 - 1801
Born with Paris, the February 20th 1723, died with Paris, the August 2nd 1801. Under the Old Mode, Nicolas Raffron de Trouillet was lawyer then became diplomat.
Under the Revolution
Old of sixty-nine years, he is elected appointed with the Convention by the department of the the Seine in 1792. He sits at the sides of the Montagnards. At the time of the Procès of Louis XVI it votes death (“it is necessary to hasten to purge the ground as of the fatherland of this odious watch”). But after the January 21st 1793, it takes its distances. Deputy thermidorien, it asks for the committal for trial of Jean-Baptiste Carrier and Guislain-François-Joseph the Good.
Under the Directory
He is elected appointed Conseil of the Five hundred by the Département of North, he chairs the first meeting of this assembly as being oldest. He withdraws political life in 1797.
