Nicolas Joseph Desenfans

Nicolas-Joseph Desenfans was a Brigadier general officer and French during the Révolution and the Empire.

State of service

  • 2 - April 9th 1796: Under the orders of the Major general Simon Canuel, the Brigadier general " Desenfans" take part in the pacification of a movement counter-revolutionary, in Sancerrois, carried out by the officer of artillerrie royalist Antoine de Phélippeaux. At the time of the catch of the town of Sancerre, it orders the column of the center, made up a detachment of the National guard of Sancerre, of a battalion of the 96ème Half-brigade, of a squadron of 21st of Hunters.
