Nicolas Henri Carteret

Nicolas Henri Carteret , born with the Châtillon-on-Seine (Coast-with Or) the November 7th 1807 and died in Paris the January 29th 1862, is a French politician.
Notary with Rheims of 1834 to 1844, city council man in 1840, second assistant in 1842, he becomes mayor of 1845 to 1848 about it. Representative of the people to the legislative Parliament of 1849, it sits on the benches of the majority, and supports the coup d'etat of Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte. He is then elected appointed in 1857 in the third district of the Marne, and sits until his death in the dynastic majority.
He was also General adviser of the Marne. Founder of the agricultural Show of Rheims, officer of the Legion of honor, it married Jeanne Adrienne Thoré (1808-1834) and rests with the Cimetière of North.
