The Academy of the ladies

This book first of all appeared in the form of a Latin manuscript in under the title of Aloisiae Sigaeae, Toletanae, Satyra sotadica of arcanis amoris and Veneris . Its attriubtion with Sigea was a trickery and the character of Meursius was only one pure fabrication. The manuscript circulated at the beginning of the 18th century in the mediums Libertin S and knew several Latin editions under different titles. the Academy of the ladies is presented in the form of a series of dialogs between Tullia, lady Italian 26 years, marries of Callias, which take care of the sexual initiation of his/her young cousin, Ottavia, with which it declares: “Your mother asked me to discover you the most mysterious secrecies of the bridal bed and to teach you what you must be with your husband, which your husband will be also, touching these small things for which the men ignite so extremely. This night, so that I can to you endoctriner on all a freer language, we will sleep together in my bed, of which I would like to be able to say that it will have been the softest string of Venus. ”
