Nicolas Caussin

Nicolas Caussin is a Jésuite French born with Troyes in 1583 and died in 1651.

It was made a reputation like Prédicateur, and became confessor of Louis XIII; it was exiled to have taken party for the queen mother.

He wrote:

  • De Eloquentia crowned and humana
  • Tragœdix crowned
  • a Apologie for the Jesuits , 1644.
