Nicolas Broca

Nicolas Broca , alias NIC (born in 1932 - died in 1993), was a draftsman of Cartoon and Belgian organizer .
Working with the studio Dupuis in the years 1970, it is charged into 1980 to illustrate the adventures of Spirou and Fantasio , on scenarios of Raoul Cauvin. Three long stories, the Belt of the great cold , the Block box and the Makers of silence , are published in the newspaper, then in album. In front of the weak enthusiasm which their version of the hero raises, the authors are thanked, Dupuis preferring to entrust the series to Tome and Janry.
Nicolas Broca does not leave therefore the Dupuis editions, and remains with the studio of animation, where it will create in particular famous the Snorkies , which had their success, and even some albums of cartoon.
