Nicolas Bergier
Nicolas Bergier , born with Rheims on March 1st, 1567, died in the castle of Oil cake on August 18th, 1623.
Historian, bachelor be laws, prosecutor of the échevinage, lawyer, man of letters, jurisconsult, Nicolas Bergier taught with the Collège of the Good-Children and the Faculty of Law of the Université of Rheims. He was named, thanks to his friend president de Bellièvre, historiographer of France, and was the author of the Dessein of the history of Rheims and the Histoire of Main road of the Empire Romain . He married in Rheims, in 1597, Marie Quatresols, widow of Gerard Queutelot, prosecutor with the seat présidial of Rheims. He rests in the church of Thiverval-Oil cake (Yvelines).
