An opinion on Audinot

In 1781, Mayeur of Saint-Paul, lampoonist sour, known as of him:
Audinot, born in Lorraine of parens poor, kept the cows of its neighbors to be made a small income with which there remained, as its parens which cultivated ground somewhat. But tired to make such a trade, & having intended to say to the days before vicinity which one never made fortune in his country, proverb which eefectua for him thereafter, it left a beautiful morning Lorraine, its shoes with the feet, a pair of shoes in the pocket of a large jacket of bore-hole, the head hidden under a thick wool hat, a bad hat over, with the hand Gaulle who, pressed on his shoulder, supported a package of some shirts of gray fabric. It then had this dye fresh & vermilion which our villagers have; fat, quite bearing, tanned a little, with the truth, but in spite of that of a figure enough returning. What a difference! Today thin, emaciated, the leaded dye, the inserted cheeks, a hypocritical glance, a body which breathes only by the breath of the desire, finally an existence so transitory that one believes, by fixing it, to see an animated spectrum; with that a handkerchief always with the mouth to hide a wet lip which distills mercury, fruit of an infamous vice ”.
