Nicolarts
The family (of) Nicolarts is a noble family of the Austrian Netherlands. She illustrated herself in particular in the people of Pierre Nicolarts , adviser-assessor of the archers of the bodyguard and mayor of the court of Brussels (end 17th century) and of her son, Robert-Henri, baron de Nicolarts (or Nicolartz) (1660-1736) which succeeded his/her father as mayor of the court of Brussels in 1693. He was also general listener of the armies in the Netherlands (of 1707 with the removal of this office in 1725) and superintendent of military justice (1707-1718).
Concessions peerage-books
- the April 1st, 1690 , the king Charles II of Spain granted to Madrid, of the increases in armorial bearings with Pierre Nicolarts , lord of Attin, about which we spoke higher.
- the March 13rd, 1716 , the emperor Charles VI granted to Vienna, concession motu landlord of the title of free baron of the Saint Worsens, transmissible with all the descendants of the name, with the authorization to carry the qualification of " Wohlgeboren" for Robert-Henri (of) Nicolart (S) , about which we spoke higher. These letters were revoked in the Austrian Netherlands by the decree of the July 24th, 1734 .
