Nicola Pisano
Nicola Pisano , usually called Nicolas of Pisa, is a Architecte and Italian Sculpteur born towards 1220 and died towards 1278.
Biography
Its work is in particular of Romance Style traditional. However Nicola Pisano is often regarded as the father of the modern sculpture. This Master was renovating Sculpture Italian, and adopted with several centuries in advance on the remainder of the Europe the style of the Greek antiquity. He was probably exerted in the Italian workshops of the Saint Roman Emperor Frederic II. He carved the first pulpit of the cathedral of Pisa which is in the baptistry.
