Nico Braun began its career with the Luxembourg. It then passes by the Bundesliga to Schalke 04. Transferred to FC Metz, it is, during five years, frightening attacking and adds up 98 goals in D1 in 170 matches played. He is thus the best historical striker of the FC Metz. During two seasons it forms a very effective duet with the Argentinian center-forward Hugo Curioni. This binomial was thus called “the artillerists of Metz”. It will evolve/move then in the 1st Belgian division, with the Charleroi SC, the Thionville FC (1980-81), then in the 2nd French professional division, before finishing its career with the Luxembourg Union.
