Nickelodeon , often shortened in Nick , is a television network by cable American intended for the children.

First chain in the world specialized for the children, Nickelodeon started to emit in 1979 under the name of Pinwheel. It was renamed Nickelodeon in 1981. Nickelodeon is at the head chains for children in the United States with 90 million hearths, and 16 Nickelodeon chains in Europe enter 17,2 million subscribed hearths.
