Nickel plating
The Nickel with like characteristic to be relatively stainless with the air and makes it possible to give a brilliant appearance and of quality. It gets busy to protect or improve appearance of parts in Fer in Cuivre or Laiton.
The parts to be nickelled must necessarily pass by a preliminary phase of cleaning which breaks up into three under-stages: the Polishing, the Degreasing and the Scouring.
Polishing makes it possible to obtain a polished nickel. This stage is optional if the finished visual one of nickel plating is not paramount. One can also do without this stage if the parts have an aspect of very good surface (For example of the parts of sheet-iron works in Feuillard rolled).
Two processes allow this treatment: The Electrolytic nickel-plating and the Chemical nickel-plating.
