Niccolò Buonaparte

Niccolò Buonaparte , was a lawyer and an Italian writer of second half of the 16th century.

Born with San Miniato in Tuscan, he was professor of letters with Florence. He was placed, but without proof, among the ancestors of the Napoleon emperor. In 1568, it made print in Florence Vedova , one of the oldest comedies of the Italian theater (...), pleasant and of an extremely light tone, which was reprinted in Florence in 1592 and Paris, at Molini in 1803. It was translated into French in 1579 by Pierre de Larivey, among the Six comedies facetious , under the title “the Widow ”.
