Nicéphore II of Constantinople

Nicéphore II was patriarch of Constantinople of 1260 at July 25th, 1261. It was métropolite of Éphèse and becomes patriarch with the abdication of Arsène Autorianos in 1260 in spite of the opposition of the bishops of Sardes and Thessalonique. Finally it is replaced by its predecessor on July 25th, 1261, dates from the resumption of Constantinople. Its patriarchate was marked by no event.
