Nibelle

Nibelle is a common French, located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.

Geography

Nibelle is located in edge of the Forêt of Orleans.

Localities:

the castle of Hallier: built by Charles of Hospital in 1544, the castle of Hallier is located slightly at the variation of the borough. It is a private property and visits only outside.

Hallier Currently: It is interesting on the architectural level because built with the hinge between the Middle Ages and the Rebirth, at one time when in the isolated places, in full forest as its name indicates it, it was still imperative to be protected from the attacks from the bands from brigands or soldiers little armed but always frightening for the peasants and their harvests. With its curtains of brick and stone, confined of ten grosses towers, it does not miss pace. It is an interesting example of residence of transition between the strong castle and the residence from pleasure.
Hallier with XIXe seen by C.Pensée: this residence seigneuriale of Hallier surprises the walker not informed of its presence, when he discovers it with the turning of the way which led there. It is a subject of pride for the villagers who make it discover with the friends and with the tourists hikers and some évertuent themselves to tell some, if not history, at least anecdotes that the tradition perpetuates. According to the legend, Charles IX would have accommodated its mistress Marie Touchet there by telling him “Here your nest Belle… ”. Perhaps caption, but the anecdote is pretty and, for this reason, deserves to be preserved. Henri IV also frequently remained in Hallier to drive out there. It often found there its mistress Henriette d' Entragues, girl of Marie Touchet.

Museum of sacred arts, inaugurated in September 2006. It includes/understands the gifts of the Barillet abbot, priest of Nibelle between 1945 and 1960.
