Niavaran
Niavaran is a district, located at the north-eastern limits of Teheran. It is located at the east of Shemiran and Darband.
In this district many foreign embassies, a site of the national library of Iran are. Its most known places are undoubtedly the Palais of Niavaran and the Parc of Niavaran.
Many a scrapes-ciels were recently built in this zone. Being in the north of the city, the climate is fresher in Niavaran all the year, in comparison with the remainder of Teheran and the snowfalls are important there each winter. This is due to the fact that the district is located on the slopes of the mounts Alborz, and ranges between 1500 and 2000 m of altitude, contrary to the center of the city which is located at 1000 Mr.
