Niaga Peul (sometimes Niaga Peulh ) is a locality of the west of the Senegal, located near the Lac Pink.

History

Administration

Niaga Peul belongs to the rural community of Sangalkam in the Département of Rufisque (Région of Dakar).

Geography

The closest localities are Malika-Sea, Tivaouane Peul, Wayambam, Gouye Guewel, Deni Guedj, Deni Guedj and Niaga Ouolof.

According to the PEPAM (Programme of drinking water and cleansing of the Millenium), Niaga Peul counts 526 inhabitants and 58 households.

As the names of the two localities indicate it, Niaga Peulh is especially inhabited by Peuls, whereas its neighbor Niaga Ouolof is populated of Wolofs.
