Kilmovee is a village of the Comté of Mayo in Ireland.
It is located on R325, roughly halfway between Kilkelly and Ballaghaderreen, with 300 families living in the zone. Its situation is really practical with the accesses of the international airport and the town of Knock, which is right at 15 minutes in the car, and with 20 minutes in the car of the place of pilgrimage of Knock.
Sporting installations
Kilmovee can be proud to be one of the first city, to have a swimming pool covered in Ireland, built by voluntary workers in 1977. Other sporting installations include a ground of Football Gaelic for men and women, a football field and roofed-in areas of tennis shoe and Badminton.

Installations of leisures include Cours fishing and play of fishing. The courses of fishing can be organized on the Lake Urlar for pike and the pole, Lung River makes it possible to fish with the line of pikes of the poles and trouts. The coucours of fishing is held on the Moy river; one of best salmon of river of Ireland and of sea trouts can be caught here.Shooting: you can join the association of protection of the contests of Kilmovee, which includes/understands, the shooting with the pigeon. The play of lotto is organized every Sunday evenings in the Center of the Community.
