Newspaper to laugh

The Newspaper to laugh is a French publication created by Charles Philipon the February 5th 1848 and disappeared in 1855.

Published on four large-in-folio pages. In 1856, it is replaced by the Newspaper amusing (which is the continuation) and by the small newspaper to laugh which is the “popular” version, smaller (eight quarto pages) and less expensive of the amusing Newspaper from which are drawn the majority from its illustrations.
