Newspaper of the company of the americanists

Founded in 1896, the Journal of the company of the americanists is a Scientific magazine of international reputation. Devoted to the companies and the Amerindian cultures under consideration in the totality of their history, the JSA holds its originality and its richness of a disciplinary opening which makes côtoyer in its pages Préhistoire, Archéologie, Ethnohistoire, Ethnologie, Ethnolinguistique and, more rarely, Sociologie and Biological anthropology. The same spirit of opening is observed for the allowed languages by the review: French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, in addition to the Indian languages. Specialized, but resolutely turning the back on the bulk-heading of the disciplines, the JSA has as a public the anthropologists who work on the America indigenous.

The Newspaper of the Company of the Americanists chose the federation of the reviews of social sciences Revues.org to put on line its posterior numbers at the year 2000, while preserving its edition paper. The reader will find volumes 87 (2001) and 88 (2002) in their entirety, but will be able to consult the synopses and the summaries of the articles of the last numbers; the articles and notes of research in full text are available on this site five years after their publication. Certain headings like Position, Obituary, Reports and notes of reading, as well as the texts of the Chronicle of the Group of information on the Amerindians are directly accessible on line, simultaneously with the edition paper.

The drafting in addition prepares the setting in progressive line of all its numbers since 1896.
