The Journal of TV-Luxembourg is the Tv news Luxembourg in French created by Robert Diligent and Jacques Navadic the September 15th 1955 and diffused every evening with 20:00 until in 1977, then every evening with 19:30 until in 1982 on TV-Luxembourg.
Each evening at 8 p.m., the two presenters reviewed local information (Grand-duché, Lorraine and Belgium) and international in a convivial and dynamic style, slicing with the austerity of the tv news of rtf.
The newspaper was then carried out since a building located at the foot of the pylon transmitting Dudelange, forcing Robert Diligent and Jacques Navadic, true pioneers of the television news in Europe, to come each day in this small building with their films under the arm. When it snowed, they were to make the last kilometer with foot. It is only one year later that is built a tower of eight stages to the Villa Louvigny in order to shelter there the offices and studios of the chain.
Robert Diligent was Editor association, then was assistant editor of information and Jacques Navadic was the director of the information of 1955 with 1984.
In 1977, the newspaper passes from 20:00 to 19:30, because its new presenter, Rene Guibert, thus wished to offer a tv news before the large-masses of the French chains TF1 and Antenne 2 which diffused varieties with this schedule.
In 1982, at the same time as the chain which becomes RTL Television, the Journal of TV-Luxembourg becomes the JTL .
