News agency
A news agency is a company which aims to provide information to the Médias, with the manner of a providing wholesaler of the retailers.
It employs journalists which collect information, format it in various ways (dispatches, articles, reports, photographs, soundtracks, vidéos, computer graphics and other elements editorial) and distributes it to the newspapers, periodicals, audio-visual mediums, numerical, etc which generally train its customers. Certain national agencies also feed the official organizations their respective countries.
The recourse to the news agencies allows the newspapers and other publications in particular to provide information on countries in which they do not have a correspondent, or on activities on which they do not have the means of inquiring themselves. The production of dispatches of the news agencies touches all the fields of the national topicality and international. Thus, typically, the national and international cover of the local newspapers is made of dispatches of agencies (or of articles provided via a trade union of newspapers).
