News-Angouleme
The News-Angouleme is the name given to bay formed by the delta of the river Hudson with New York, by the Italian navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano when he discovered it in 1524. It thus named this place in the honor of François Ier (count of Angouleme of 1496 with 1515) for which it explored the Indies .
