New musics

new Musiques is a musical Ensemble Belgian, creates in 1962, at the time of a concert organized by the National institute of broadcasting (ancestor of RTBF). The December 6th 1962 thus takes place, in studio 1 of the INR, the representation of " Répons" of Henri Pusher, as well as the second sonata of Pierre Boulez.

Under the direction of the Type-setter and Violoncellist Jean-Paul Dessy, the unit is based since 1998 in the town of Mons (Belgium) within the Transborder Arts center " The Mons" Horse-gear;.

Musiques Nouvelles is a pole of creation and of production musical and, for this reason, organizes the diffusion in concerts and artistic events in Belgium and abroad. The unit also accommodates in residence of the foreign type-setters as of the vidéastes within the framework of the multi-field development of projects. Lastly, of the meetings are regularly organized around the musical stakes of today.
