New impressions

Publisher founded in 1985, the New Impressions to date published more than one hundred of books. Their ambition is to publish in all independence of the innovative works as well as readable, by stressing contemporary creation and the reflection.

Their catalog presents a certain number of titles become today of traditional, like the Entretiens with Alain Robbe-Grillet with Benoît Peeters, first literary DVD in France, the voice in the boxroom of Raymond Federman or the Cage of Martin Vaughn-James. More recently, Strawberry and Chocolat of Aurélia Aurita, the Japanese Apprentice of Frederic Boilet, the Promise made with my sister of Joseph Ndwaniye (selection 2007 of the Price of the Five Continents of the Francophonie, of the Price Jean Bernard of the National Academy of Medicine and the Price of the Marsh) or Vues on the sea of Helene Gaudy (final selection of the price Médicis 2006) received a particularly favorable reception as well on behalf of the public as of criticism.

Exploring the paths of the novel, poetry, test, theater or new cartoon, the New Impressions put a very detailed attention to publish books which exceed the borders of the existing kinds and aim at supporting the debate.
