New York Sun
The New York Sun is a new daily newspaper New Yorkean which appeared the April 16th 2002. It is the first creation of a newspaper of general interest in New York since two generations.
An old newspaper bearing the same name had started to be published in 1833, then had amalgamated with the New York World-Telegram in 1950. Separately the name, there does not exist any bond between the new one and the old newspaper.
The current owners include/understand Hollinger International, a company formerly directed by Conrad Black. According to a article published in the Boston Earth , the newspaper employs journalists with the political opinions close to the conservatives. Its president and editor association are Seth Lipsky and its publication director Ira Stoll.
Sun obtained appreciations favorable of criticisms for its sports column, written by Tim Marchman, John Hollinger, Sean Lahman, and Thomas Hauser.
