New X-Men: Academy X

New X-Men: Academy X is a series of comics published by Marvel Comics. It makes following the series New Mutants (2nd) published in France in the Magazine Maximum X-Men .

Synopsis

This series, first of all started under the title New Mutants , reports the history of adolescent mutants, alive at the Xavier Institute of Wetchester, in the Comté of New York, the famous HQ which sheltered several generations of X-men, of first X-Men in 1963 with the Astonishing X-Men nowadays.

After the total destruction of the Institute, this one was entirely rebuilt and accommodates many new pupils, divided into teams of six, directed each one by a teacher of the Xavier Institute.

Characters

This series is centered particularly on the team of the Nouveaux Mutants , directed by Danielle Moonstar (which belonged to the original team of the Nouveaux Mutants), composed in the beginning of:

Trade wind alias Sophia Mantega
Prodigy alias David Alleyne
Elixir alias Joshua “Josh” Foley
Raw alias Noriko “Nori” Ashida
Giroflée (name VO: Wallflower ) alias Laurie Hakes

Then of Wither alias Kevin Ford, which leaves the team of the New Mutants at the end it #6 in order to join the Hellions (another team of students of the Xavier Institute, under the direction of Emma Frost, the former White Queen, which had joined together a few years before the first Helium nuclei).

This last is at once replaced by Icare (name VO: Icarus ) alias Joshua “Jay” Guthrie, which did not feel in its place among the Hellions and which preferred to join the New Mutants of Danielle Moonstar. This last is besides the young brother of Rocket, X-Man which formed originally part, following the example Danielle Moonstar, first team of the Nouveaux Mutants.

History

The history tells the adventures within the Xavier Institute of the team of the New Mutants, and its disagreements with the other teams, and in particular with the Hellions.

It is known that there exist several teams of young mutants within the Xavier institute, apart from the New Mutants and of the Helium nuclei, in particular the Corsairs, directed by Cyclops, or the Squadron Alpha, directed by Vega (before this last is not made kill by Wolverine, when this one was under the influence of the terrorist agency “the Hand”).
