New Warriors

The New Warriors constitute a team of superman " citadins" belonging to the universe of Marvel Comics, based with NYC. She was created in 1989 by Fabian Nicieza and Evan Skolnick.

History

New Warriors were formed on the initiative of Night Thrasher, to fight the former herald of Galactus, Terrax.

The team is dissolved twice:

once in Nova vol. 3 #1, then reformed in New Warriors vol. 2 #1,
another time a little front New Warriors vol. 3 #1, reformed in the same episode.

War civilian

Certains New Warriors is at the origin of the Crossover Civil War . To start again their career, the team agrees to be made film in a kind of real-TV devoted to the supermen. At the beginning of this crossover Marvel, Microbe, Namorita and Night Trasher is killed by Nitro, which explodes near a school in a district. Speedball was captured and imprisoned. It lost its capacities but following an attempted murder, found itself again with super-human capacities.

Recently, a new series called New Warriors was published. It makes following the story-arc Civil War .

This new team took again the name of New Warriors, principal agents having contributed to the event Civil War . The team is outlaw but tries to save lives and to stop criminals sought or not, like Rhino, the Gray Gargouille, or Anaconda.
