New Morning

The New Morning is a Parisian concert hall which opened its doors in 1981.

History

The first concert was given the April 16th by Art Blakey accompanied by the Jazz Messengers. Among the artists who occurred there, one can in particular quote George Russell, Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Dizzy Gillespie, Arturo Sandoval, Dexter Gordon, Kenny Clarke or even Art Blakey.

It also receives musicians of Blues like Taj Mahal, Music Maker, Terry Evans, Mighty Mo Rodgers…

If the place is primarily dedicated to the artists of Jazz, it also accommodated artists of other horizons like Prince, Jean-Jacques Goldman or Michel Berger
