New Historians
The Nouveaux Historians are a group of historians who re-examined the history of Israel and in particular the events relating to his birth.
It is about Benny Morris, Ilan Pappé, Avi Shlaim, Tom Segev and retrospectively Simha Flapan. One also refers to them as historians post-Zionists or revisionists.
Their work, published starting from end of the year 1980 was possible following the opening of the Israeli and British files on the events of 1948. They are at the base many debates and controversies.
