New Democratic party of New Brunswick

The New Democratic party of New Brunswick (NPD) (English: New Brunswick New Democratic Party, NDP ) is a active Political party at the provincial level with the New Brunswick (Canada); it is the provincial wing of the Nouveau federal Democratic party. Among the characteristics of the party, one notes his social democrat orientations and Socialiste S and his bonds with the trade-union organizations. Allison Brewer was chief of the party until recently; following the general election of 2006, where no deputy néo-democrat succeeds in being made elect, she resigns. A congress of nomination will be held in 2007 to elect a new chief; Pat Hanratty acts as temporary chief up to that point.
