New Acropolis
The Nouvelle Acropolis is an association founded by the Argentinian Jorge Ángel Livraga Rizzi (1930 - 1991), and whose establishment is international.
She proposes conferences and academic cycles philosophical and religious, and organizes humanitarian actions and cultural.
New Acropolis is classified in France among the sects following a parliamentary inquiry of 1996. According to the Unadfi, it could be also assimilated to neofascist movement a “. ”
The academics Massimo Introvigne and Antoine Faivre, within the framework of their research on the contemporary movements esoteric, refute however that the New Acropolis shows the characteristics of a true sectarian movement. This standpoint their was worth virulent criticisms on behalf of certain movements of fight against the sects.
