Nevriye Yılmaz

Nevriye Yılmaz , born the June 16th 1980 with Plovdiv in Bulgaria, is a Turkish player of Basket-ball, evolving/moving at the station of pivot.

Born in Bulgaria, this player of Turkish origin joined Istanbul with old 9 years with the return of his/her parents in their country of origin. It very early begins the tennis shoe with Galatasaray before playing then in Greece and Bulgaria. After a passage in Italy, it returns in 2005 to the country to play Fenerbahçe Istanbul.

During the seasons of summers, it tries its chance in WNBA. After unfruitful tests with the Charlotte Sting then the Miami Ground, it signs finally with Phoenix Mercury like free agent, playing 5 matches. The following season, she plays with the San Antonio Silver Stars.

With its national selection, it takes part in the Championnat of Europe of female basketball 2005 which is held in its country. She obtains there the title of better rebondeuse tournament.
