One calls neutrophile a cellular component which has an affinity for the neutral dyes.

The granulocytes neutrophiles (or more simply neutrophiles) are polymorphonuclear leucocytes blood which have an affinity for the neutral dyes. The Neutrophilie is a rise in the number of polynuclear neutrophiles. The Neutropénie is a lowering of the number of polynuclear neutrophiles.
