News-walk of Brandebourg

The area of the Neumark is in fact the News-Walk of Brandebourg, divided into:

  • Custrin

  • pitch Circles (Soldin, Kcenigsberg, Landsberg-year-DER-Warthe)
  • built-in Circles (Stensberg, Zullichau, Cottbus)

In 1402, New Walk (Neumark) is allotted to the teutonic Ordre which pacifies the territories under its authority.

It was attached to the Margraviat de Brandebourg in 1445 by Frederic II, said Dent of Iron.
