Neufchâtel-in-Bray
Neufchâtel-in-Bray is a common French, located in the department of the Seine-Maritime and the area High-Normandy. One manufactures cheese of the there even name and Neufchâtelois lives there.
Geography
Neufchâtel is a commune brayonne crossed by the Béthune and its affluent, Philbert.
Neufchâtel is located at 15 km of Londinières and Saint-Saëns, to 17 km of Forging mill-the-Water, to 21 km of Buchy, to 27 km of Aumale, to 28 km of Blangy-on-Bresle and to 36 km of Dieppe. The city is located in edge of the has 28 connecting Rouen to Abbeville, in the vicinity immediate of its intersection with the has 29 (Le Havre - Amiens).
History
Old capital of the Country of Bray; formerly strong city, it was dismantled in 1596. It was called formerly Driencourt . It received its current name of a castle that made there build Henri Ier of England, at the 12th century.
- September 10th 1926: the Arrondissement of Neufchâtel is removed following the decree Poincaré.
- the downtown area was destroyed during the Second world war. During the rebuilding, an administrative pole was created gathering in the same place and in the same style the town hall, the court, the center of the taxes and the theater.
- April 9th 1962: Neufchâtel takes the name of Neufchâtel-in-Bray

Equipment
Old chief town of district, Neufchâtel-in-Bray kept many public equipment. There are a local hospital, a school residence gathering three colleges (college of mainstream education, vocational school and agricultural vocational school), a magistrates' court and a bankruptcy court… It on the other hand lost its station, the line Paris-Saint-Lazare - Dieppe having been closed between Serqueux and Dieppe (closing considered to be illegal by the administrative court). Neufchâtel-in-Bray is served today by coaches FOR THE THIRD TIME High-Normandy connecting Dieppe to Gisors-Junction via Serqueux. The station of Neufchâtel-in-Bray, which had been rebuilt in a local style after the Second world war, became a place of exposure while the railway platform became a footpath (the green avenue).
La city also has sports equipment (swimming pool and gymnasium) and cultural (cinema and theater recently renovated).
Un supermarket and two hardware-discounters are gathered in the zone of the Large Flanders, another hardware-discounter being installed in downtown area.

Percheval de Grouchy: lawyer of the king with Neufchâtel-in-Bray, author of a Latin poem in " Saliberna" dedicated to the penitent fathers, to successors of the first monks. Grouchy preserved the old weapons of the family: of hooped gold of six parts of azure, while Grouchy-Robertot carried money to three sinople clover, weapons of the family of Escorchebœuf, taken by Jean Ier, towards 1370, and which were modified in 1671.
