The Network Control Program ( CPC ), is a autonomous Logiciel carried out by the unit of communication associated with the host computer. It ensures the management of the whole of the connections with the stations and terminals as well as the possible communications with other mainframes.
It dates from the years 1980 and is integrated into architecture SNA of IBM.
