Nettuno is a Italian city of the Province of Rome in the Latium, on the coast thyrénniene, in the south of the the Tiber.

It is a very attended seaside resort, an agricultural and industrial center (food, preserves fish, pieces of furniture, glass). The local wine is the Cacchione .

Part of the city is inside the medieval walls, outside is the fortress, very early example of modern fortification set up by Antonio de Sangallo for the pope Alexandre VI.
