Nerville-the-Forest

Nerville-the-Forest is a commune of the Val-d'Oise located at orée of the Forêt of Isle-Adam at approximately 30 km at the north of Paris. It dominates the small valley of the Ru of Presles, with hillside of the Forêt of Carnelle.

Its inhabitants are Nervillois (be).

The commune is bordering on Isle-Adam, Presles, Maffliers, Montsoult and Villiers-Adam.

Heraldic

History

The name of Nerville-the-Forest comes from Latin will nigra , black, of villa , field and of the suffix forest.
