Nerve trigeminal
The nerve trigeminal is the fifth pair of the cranial nerves whose role is driving for the chewing and sensitive teguments of the face.
Anatomy
The nerve trigeminal appears with the antéro-side face of the annular Protubérance of the cerebral Tronc in two beams, the large sensitive beam and a small driving beam. There is a nerve trigeminal for each hémi-face, therefore a right nerve trigeminal and a nerve on the left. The origin of the nerve trigeminal is at the level of the gray cores of the protuberance. There are a core somato-engine depend on the cortico-nuclear ways, and a sensitive core sending of information on the ways lemniscales. The bodies of the sensitive neurons are located in the ganglion of Gasser (or ganglion trigéminal) just above the large wing of the Os sphénoïde and the posterior torn hole.
The nerve trigeminal moves forwards as of its exit of the cerebral trunk, passes above the rock of the temporal Os and is divided into three sensitive branches (of or the name of trigeminal nerve).
Nerve mandibulaire
The Nerve mandibulaire crossing the oval foramen and leaving several collateral:- towards the muscles manducateurs:
- deep nerve of the temporal Muscle
- nerve of the side Muscle ptérygoïdien
- nerve of the Muscle ptérygoïdien médial
- nerve of the Muscle masséter
- towards the muscles of the pharynx, the ear and the oral cavity:
- nerve of the tensor Muscle of the velum
- nerve of the former belly of the Muscle digastric
- nerve of the Muscle mylo-hyoïdien
- nerve of the Muscle of the hammer
- towards the teguments and the skin:
- auriculo-temporal Nerve
- oral Nerve
- lingual Nerve
- lower dental Nerve
- lower dental Plexus
- Nerve mentonnier
Ophthalmic nerve
The ophthalmic Nerve passing by the slit sphénoïde and leaving several collateral sensitive:- nasal Nerve
- lachrymal Nerve
- frontal Nerve
- nerve supratrochléaire
Nerve upper maxilla
The Nerve upper maxilla crossing the foramen large round and leaving several collateral sensitive:- under-orbital Nerve
- sphéno-palatine Ganglion
- Nerve nasopalatine
- former dental Nerve
- posterior dental Nerve
- Nerve of the channel ptérygoïdien
