Neper

The neper (symbol Np ), although apart from the international Système (IF), is of use with him. The neper is used to express the value of sizes logarithmic curves such as the level of field, the level of power, the acoustic level of Pression or the decrement logarithmic curve. The natural logarithms are used to obtain the numerical values of the sizes expressed in nepers. The neper is coherent with IF, but were not adopted yet by the General conference like unit IF.
